By accessing or using SERPROZ ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

SERPROZ is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking services with independent service professionals ("Professionals"). We facilitate communication, quoting, booking, and payment processing between parties.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Customer Terms

4.1 Job Posting

Customers may post job requests describing the services they need. All job descriptions must be accurate and comply with applicable laws.

4.2 Payments

Customers agree to pay for services as quoted and accepted. Payments are processed through our secure payment system, which may include escrow services for milestone-based projects.

4.3 Reviews

Customers may leave reviews for completed services. Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on actual experience with the Professional.

5. Professional Terms

5.1 Eligibility

Professionals must be legally authorized to perform the services they offer. Licensed trades must maintain valid licenses and certifications as required by New Zealand law.

5.2 Service Quality

Professionals agree to provide services professionally, safely, and in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations.

5.3 Fees

Professionals may be charged platform fees, which are deducted from payments received. Current fee structures are available on our pricing page.

6. SecurePay Escrow Service

For eligible jobs, SERPROZ offers SecurePay, an escrow service that holds customer payments until work milestones are completed and approved. See our SecurePay Terms for detailed conditions.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Circumvent payment processing through the Platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to manipulate reviews or ratings
• Use the Platform for unlicensed work requiring certification

8. Dispute Resolution

SERPROZ provides dispute resolution services to help resolve disagreements between customers and professionals. While we facilitate resolution, we are not responsible for the outcome of disputes regarding service quality or payment.

9. Limitation of Liability

SERPROZ is a marketplace platform and is not a party to the agreement between customers and professionals. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to the Platform.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, and software, is owned by SERPROZ or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant SERPROZ a license to use such content for Platform operations.

11. Termination

SERPROZ may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Users may close their accounts at any time through account settings.

12. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in New Zealand courts.
